SHOTGUN DIXIE is a five-piece, modern country band based in Central Illinois and specializes in new country, classic country and country-rock. The group concentrates on hot, new country hits but mixes in a little southern and classic rock 'n' roll as well. The band is proud to be the official house band for WFYR 97.3 River Country in Peoria, Illinois. SHOTGUN DIXIE is a group of seasoned musicians who have performed together for many years. Kevin “Krobar” Anderson is the newest addition to the band. Krobar replaces two members who retired and is arguably THE best country guitar picker in the Midwest!
